I usually use the feature switched off as most games switch HDR on when they load and there are less problems but that was not the case with RDR2. Not sure if HDR is working correctly as menu is quite dull but the game is running now.

I had to enable HDR in windows settings (right click desktop, switch “Play HDR games and apps” to ON). I noticed it went black screen after the HDR logo popped on. Wadeįor me it was because I was using a HDR screen (LG OLED C7 55″). Turn off HDR under display settings, then relaunch and everything ran perfectly fine.
